( thank goodness) so you have plenty of time to apply. it says on their nursing website, "The MSJC Nursing Program is unable to accept new applications for the Fall 2021 semester because, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our medical partners have had to significantly reduce opportunities for students to complete their required clinical hours. " is this correct?

Feb 10, 20215 yr Hello All I’m applying at some point. I’m coming from out of state so it’s been A LOT trying to figure everything out on my own. I applied to the school Monday, went and had blood work for titers done and drug test Tuesday, Completed my BLS CPR class today, and castlebranch started my background check. I took my HESI but I need to sign up for the critical thinking section still. I also need to send my transcripts. I’m sure I’m missing a few things but I’m thinking about making an appointment with a advisor. Trying not to get overwhelmed. On another note, I attended a virtual zoom information session and we were told the lowest score accepted Spring was 18 points so that’s good to know.
Feb 10, 20215 yr Author Make sure that you do make a appointment with a advisor because they have to clear your transcript before you can apply. Yes I went to the information zoom meeting and I asked the question about the scores to get in LOL. I really hope that they are not telling a fib to keep people's hope up! To be honest I have been getting everything together since last year! Thankfully so because my mmr titer came back bad and I had to redo my shots. Good luck to you and if have questions maybe I can help!

I was originally applying to a 4 year university that didn’t require any of the castle branch items until after you were accepted so I admit I am a little unprepared ?. I just set up an appointment Monday with an advisor. I too hope it’s only 18 points to get in!
Feb 12, 20215 yr I’m thinking about San Jacinto central but I’m not sure. I currently go to lone star cy fair and will be applying for Spring 2022. Since y’all know more information about the program, could y’all tell me how it is. I never seen or been to San Jacinto but I would probably apply in case I don’t get into Lone star Cy fair or Kingwood. Thanks!
Feb 13, 20215 yr Author You have to have more prerequisite. Microbiology Ap 1&2 , English. If you have those and want to apply. I can send you the links that can give you more basic information and you are more then welcome to ask me what it doesn't tell you!
Feb 18, 20215 yr Thank you that would be great if you can send the links! Like I said again I attend Lone Star so I don’t know much about San Jac. I am kind of worried that I’ll get a B in A&P 2 which will hinder my chances of getting in.
