Anyone applying to the Spring 2022 LVN program at San Jacinto College (Houston, Texas)? I haven't seen anyone post about it so I decided to make one. I just saw they extended the deadline until October 22.

@Trutru stay positive don't lose faith no matter the circumstances. At least you have the possibility to be in the LVN program. Remember; you are in control of your mind and thoughts don’t let your thoughts be your obstacles. We got this!
I know this is all late, but did anyone that accepted to be on the alternate list for North hear back from them?
I emailed them earlier asking when we'll hear back if we made it into the program or not because it's been about a month and they emailed me back saying that their Spring cohort is full and there's no available slots.
So were they just not gonna let us know if we got off the alternate list or not? I'm confused

I don't know either.
When I accepted the alternative list I got an email back saying they would let me know if there was a spot that came available. Honestly I think if we haven’t heard from them by now we probably didn’t get in because classes are starting in January. But I would email them this week before they go on Winter break. They definitely should have sent an email out after some time so people aren’t waiting.
Hello all,
I know that I’m super late but I was placed on the alternate list for the VN San Jac North program for the Spring 22 session. I spoke with the department a few times and I was told that the cohort is full with no seats available at this time. However, I received my blue card in the mail a few weeks ago and I was shocked because I didn’t order my own background check. So I called and someone advised me that those who were accepted and those put on the alternate list automatically had their information sent to TBON. Did anyone else receive their blue card from the Texas Board of Nursing?
