Starting this forum for the LVN program Fall 2018.

Are you in the LVN program?

Sorry for all the questions im just curious. When are classes how many days a week and hours?

Yes. I'm in level 2.

Level 1. If you have done A&P and Nutrition.

All you take is basic nursing skills and math med administration which are 8 weeks.

Then the 2nd part of the semester. We took advance nursing skills and clinical 1.

If it's shows. Dr. Mathews on your schedule, she doesn't use a textbook. Only for basic and advance u will need a textbook

Monday -Thursday. Usually

Selling 11th edition medsurg with workbook for $60.

And 11th edition pharmacology textbook for 50$

For level 2.

Medsurg is a add on from nursing skills.

Pharmacology is hard. Doesn't hurt to read a chapter a week.

@Martinez260331 Can I have your email?

If we have already taken RNSG 1301 do we still need to take VNSG? Also, can we take another class in level 1 if we already have A&P done?

They said classes don't transfer and also in orientation they gave us the classes to enroll in.

If you can remenber, what was your rubric score for them to hvae placed you as an alternate? I am applying for the adn program and am worried about my rubric score.

Are you ladies already in the program? How it go? Was is hard? I am applying for a Spring 2019, LVN at San Jac South. Waiting for the result by the end of this month.

Yes!! It's not so bad so far! We have taken one test of basic nursing skills and Monday is our first exam for med Admin. Exam 2 of basing nursing skills is Thursday and it has a lot of content!! I would Say start getting the books as soon as you get accepted so you can start reading because it's a lot of content.
