Is anyone applying to San jac centrals adn program for the spring of 2016? Just curious about the minimum gpas normally accepted as well as hesi scores.

Those of you who have yet to join our FB support group page for San Jac Spring 2016 nursing please do so--it is specifically to help one another out :-)

I'm in the same boat, trying to stay positive! I just hate all of the waiting, especially since I applied way back in August!

I applied during the first deadline of the application, as of today have not heard anything yet. I have gone through a wave of emotions ranging from nervousness, impatience, anger and bow back to nervousness. At this point I do not know what to expect :(, I am already expecting the worst.

I'm in the same boat. I applied way back in August and am still waitng. Trying to stay positive, but I just hate all the waiting. Especially since people got accepted way back in November.

Please disregard this post I meant to comment on another users post.

Just to give my update, I received my letter today that my application was denied and I can be added to the alternate Student list if I'd like. Definitely not having the best of days but it's also not the end of the world, I will continue to hope for a position but I will also expand my horizons to other schools.

A few friends of mine was put in the alternate list last application period and then was offered a position a couple of weeks after orientation so do not be discouraged.

I really appreciate it! It definitely gives me a bigger glimmer of hope! Hopefully I'm one of those lucky ones.

Hi there, I took my Hesi to try to get in the Fall ADN pogram. My overall score was an 85. However I got a 70 on a reading subsection. my Gpa is 3.6. Did you get accepted or retake your Hesi?

You don't really have to retake if it was a subsection...I also got a below 75 on an English subsection a and got accepted

Hello everyone and congratulations on your success so far! I have a question. I am applying for ADN with a 3.2 GPA, 86 HESI, and unfortunately a 13/30 points score (due to retakes). I am feeling extremely discouraged and was wondering if anyone knew of anyone (even if it was you) who got accepted with that kind of point scaling? Thanks in advance.

I applied last semester with a rubric score of 17 and they didn't accept me she said they weren't even looking at the applications that were under 20....but just apply they competition is different every semester.....I am going to apply one more time to rn and the lvn program....good luck

What do you think of doing LVN program then transition program after?

I really wanted to go straight into the rn program but unfortunately when I was younger I didn't do so well in another college and that gpa is bringing me down. ...but to this point i am just ready to go into nursing and I don't mind starting as an lvn and then transfering
