San Jacinto College ADN - Fall 2020

This is my first time using this site. But I’m in the process of applying to the San Jacinto College ADN program.
my grades are:

English: B

AP1: A

AP2: B

Micro: B

Science GPA: 3.27

HESI: 91.2

I’ve been to one other college besides San Jac, so I don’t know my exact cumulative GPA, but it’s between 2.9-3.1

my current ruberic is a 21 not counting my GPA.

My real concern is if I should apply ASAP, or will I be ok waiting about a week for my CNA license to become current, and also, what are my chances of getting in? Thanks for any responses!

Was it from North or Central?

I just got my denial letter as well. From Central. Honestly pretty upset. My grades were high too. IDK how they’re deciding at all.

what were your grades? Did they explain the reason for denial?

My overall GPA was a 2.9. Science GPA 3.2 or 3.3 HESI was 92.1 and I had the extra 2 points for CNA. I had 22 points. And no. No explanation.

WOW!, your points are great! It is very strange why you did not get in. Don't be upset it is life and unfortenatly you cannot change anything now. Maybe it is not the right time for you and something better coming on your way! I did not get anything yet, so I'm still waiting...

Did you take all your classes at San Jac or at a different college? my score was 18, GPA 3.1, HESI 90.4, applied at Central from HCC

WOW!! Your scores are high!!! Dnt lose hope if you still apply to north!! My score was 19 ? I haven't got anything yet! GPA 3.1 HESI 85 and CNA 2 points science 2 A 2 B

I had a 3.6 GPA for science and I believe my overall was just a little bit higher than that. I scored a 84.8 on my HESI.

Yup. I took all my pre reqs at SJC except Comp 1. I took my HESI at SJC as well.

Yea...on the bright side, I got into College of the Mainland right after I got my denial. And I haven’t heard from North campus just yet. Good luck to you.

I took all my classes from Hcc too? what's the letter of your last name? I haven't gotten anything mines C
