San Jacinto College ADN - Fall 2020

Published

This is my first time using this site. But I’m in the process of applying to the San Jacinto College ADN program.
my grades are:

English: B

AP1: A

AP2: B

Micro: B

Science GPA: 3.27

HESI: 91.2

I’ve been to one other college besides San Jac, so I don’t know my exact cumulative GPA, but it’s between 2.9-3.1

my current ruberic is a 21 not counting my GPA.

My real concern is if I should apply ASAP, or will I be ok waiting about a week for my CNA license to become current, and also, what are my chances of getting in? Thanks for any responses!

I got denied as well

I just got denied from Central.?

Has anyone ever contacted to Central to know the reason why you got denied?

I really want to know how to make up for the next applying.

No, I really don't know last year when my cousin got accepted she found out one of her classmate got accepted with a score of 18

Honestly I have no clue I didn’t reach out nor call to see why. I was accepted into a BSN PROGRAM. So getting the denial letter from an ADN program really shocked me. My scores were really high and I only heard of three people (on this web) who have gotten accepted and all those my scores were Higher. ?

I bugged them till they responded LOL. I failed Anatomy 5 years ago, and I thought it wouldn’t count against me because you know after 5 years the class doesn’t count anymore...or so I thought. The F took 2 points points from me and I ended up with an 18. They told me 19 was the cutoff this year.

My score was 21 or 22. don't have any extra points.

Apparentely, they don't seem to select people with grades. Then, how we could be prepared for the NEXT in the middle of confusing.

That’s crazy. I’d be upset too. I was dumbfounded when they told me sciences don’t count after 5 years, but they can still penalize me with a 5 year old F. But the 2 ppl I know not on this forum had a 19 and a 20.

I didn't fail any class and I still got denied I made a 19

More and more I'm so confusing. I'm trying to contact them to know the reason. did you call'em or email?

Both ?

They responded by email though. They’re taking their sweet time though.
