  1. Got my denial letter today.
  2. Oh no. I’m sorry! Was it your Personal Or school email?
  3. I’m nervously waiting! Hopefully not too much longer before we get emails!
  4. I just mailed my application, but I don’t have a transcript evaluation done! I have my associates from San Jac and all my prereqs were done there. Is that a necessity? Also, I mailed my HESI scores directly to the nursing department. Not myself. And put it a printed copy of the results in the application! I’m so nervous I totally screwed up now.
  5. I was hoping that was an option as well. I replied to the administrator with the email I originally sent saying I was reapplying this fall. We will see what happens. With the school being closed, it makes it really difficult!
  6. Yes. It was very difficult. I got into both ACC and COM. I applied to both again and San Jac this time. Let’s see... I’m not really sure my GPA. I completed: Chemistry - A, stats - A, AP1 - C, AP2 - A. Microbiology - B. Psych - C. Biology - A. Lifespan - A. Comp 1 and 2 with an A. My HESI score was a 86%. I’ve only taken it once. I had 90% or higher on math and reading. 80% range for the other categories, and a 77% on AP section. An 880 on the critical thinking section too. I also got an extra point for being an EMT and working for Memorial Hermann Hospital. And I have an Associates Degree from San Jac. Hope this helps!
  7. I was #8 on the alternate list and ended up making it last round. But unfortunately my grandmother passed and I had to decline. I’m seriously hoping I get in this time! Good luck to you as well!!
  8. How many classes can you have IP when applying? I think all I need is my humanities class.
  9. Hey guys!!! We are suppose to know who progresses to the next round by Friday, right??
  10. Rachel - what do you do in the ER? I work as an ER tech and have for the last 9 years. I love it! Good luck to you!
  11. Lauren, That’s true. It’s so competitive. Hopefully I can advance to the next round. You’re relocating as well?! And no. North Bend is only about a 35-40 minute drive from campus. I need to do the dosage website for practice. I do a lot of drug math at work already. Hopefully I just make it to the next round! And you as well!! Good luck ? and be safe with the move!
  12. Hey guys. I applied to the traditional BSN. Im super anxious I did everything right... I didn’t get to attend the info session since I currently live in Houston, TX and will be relocating to North Bend in the next few months. I was accepted here to 3 schools, but due to the fiancés job, we are moving. I know I forgot to list the hours from each job on the resume ? and I have worked in the ER as an EMT for the last 9 years.... I hope that doesn’t hurt too much. Anyone hear anything about the essay yet? I know snow can cause some delays sometimes!
  13. Ahh. that sucks!! Well congrats on getting acceptance with COM! I already accepted their offer too!
  14. Oh my gosh! That is torture. Wharton’s sugarland campus denied my acceptance, but COM accepted me!! So I’m just waiting for Alvin to make their decision as well!
