Hey everyone! I noticed there wasn't a topic for San Jacinto so I made one. I'm applying to Central campus and want to apply to North, but I've noticed there application isn't up yet! Who else is applying?

On the website it says that they’re only accepting mailed in applications due to covid, which is why I initially mailed mine off. I’m not sure how the schools are operating since covid as I haven’t been to a campus since this all started. I did email an advisor and I’m just waiting on a response to see what my next step should be. I’m hoping they’ll allow the application to just be delivered in person. I’m worried cause I sent mine off and it says not delivered but it also hasn’t been returned to me and I have copies of my ss and dl in it. I don’t want to send off again and the same thing happen.

Yeah I totally understand. South campus only allowed applications to be sent by email which worked out great they need to figure out something!

Anyone that didn’t have health insurance and has gotten it for the program, what provider or company did you go with?

Is anyone that is applying to north delivering their application in person?

You can retake just the section you need to be brought up, however, San jac only excepts test grades from the HESI in its entirety. Most schools only except comeplete HESI grades. 

after speaking to the ADN administrator she confirmed that I needed to take the whole test again, however, they only calculate from two sets of scores and they take the highest for each subject. That's what I was told.

For those that mailed theirs in did you hear back from the advisors about your application?

Regarding acceptance or denial, no they sent those letters out around mid November. But in regards if they have my application with them yes! They responded saying it made it to them.

I called both north and central and they told me they received my application.

I emailed them and heard back that they received mine. I dbl checked even though I sent mine thru ups.

So this kind of random, but does anyone know how San Jac is handling courses with COVID? Are the nursing classes going to be online or on campus?

Hi guys! I’m also applying to San Jac Central ADN program! I’m hoping I get accepted I’m seeing all of these great rubric scores and GPAs and feel a little discouraged about mine ? mine is 18, 3.05 GPA, and 92.8 on HESI. I’m not sure if I have a shot getting in
