San Jacinto College ADN Spring 2019

Published

Anyone else applying to San Jac Spring 2019? Application dates are August 6, 2018 - October 8, 2018.

My rubric is currently 17 but I am in the middle of APII and taking Micro in the fall; that's an additional 2-6 points. HESI is 90.4.

San Jac's ADN program is the worst, I am currently in the ADN program..a year in and I wish I didn't come here. Please do your research on the school. This program does not support their students. My cohort started with 100, its now down to 40!! idk how they have good pass rates because everyone is failing in this program. The teachers don't teach and they talk to you like children. Please look into other schools

Spoke with Mrs. Torres again today and she stated they only needed to fill 2 more spots for the ADN program at north....... that sucks

I talked to her also, she told me the same thing. I'm number 8. She said if we haven't heard anything by Jan 10. They are full. It does suck

I'm confused , did the numbers change? Or how does it work? I know you said yesterday you were 23 and today you moved to 8.... how are they doing the numbers?

I was 36 yesterday and they said they are going from 60 and working their way down but they move you from 23 to eight..... I'm so confused!

It doesn't make any sense to me either, I don't know how they are doing it. I was just at 23 Monday now I'm 8. Confused is an understatement

I think when the people in front of you turn down their off then that bumps you up on the list and your number changes.

Yea I am just preparing to start and apply in the Fall this has stressed me out enough , good luck to you in your future endeavors! It'll happen for us soon

That's is true, I'm doing the same thing. It is stressful. Good luck to you too

I'm not exactly sure what the highest or lowest score accepted was: however, I had a score of 18 and I was number 36 on the alternate list.

Thanks for the Feedback Mel! How long did it take for you to hear back from them? Was it after the Nurse orientation or close to class starting?

Has anybody else from the Spring application cycle heard back after being put on the Alternate List?
