San Jacinto College ADN Spring 2019

Anyone else applying to San Jac Spring 2019? Application dates are August 6, 2018 - October 8, 2018.

My rubric is currently 17 but I am in the middle of APII and taking Micro in the fall; that's an additional 2-6 points. HESI is 90.4.

I was also selected has an alternate also at north,(no its not a complete no)holding out hope.

Yes usually alternates have a great chance of starting due to technical things that happen with students who are accepted so yes there's still hope! Will you be applying to the LVN program or will you just wait it out?

I'm going to wait it out and if I dont get accepted into the program and i'm going to apply again in January and at lonestar.

I was accepted as an alternate as well. I wonder how long the ones who were accepted have to let them know whether they accept or not.

I was wondering that also. I know we have till the 11th. Some people got there letter last Friday and they posted on here that they were decking for central. I wonder how long would we have to wait to even be called, I looked at previous cohorts and alternates waited about 2 weeks. But or situation is different because a little under 2 weeks it's Christmas break.

Yes, same thing I was thinking. How are they going to communicate with us if a space opens, I doubt that they'll be in the office. Are we supposed to attend the orientation too? What is the exact start date of the program?

I am sure we would still have to do everything as if we were accepted so that if we are pulled of the alternate list we have everything completed. I know with HCC you have to complete everything as if you were accepted. I was accepted as an alternate at HCC as well.....

That makes sense. I just read from a previous forum that we could recieve a call up until the first day of class. That gives us alot of hope. Which program are you hoping to hear back from more?

All of these seems to be true because lonestar alternates have to do everything also has if they were accepted.

Hopefully we won't have to wait long so if called we can get our books and things we need in time for school. Which starts January 14

I prefer San Jac, I haven't heard very good things about HCC but whichever will give me the opportunity I'll accept.
