San Jacinto College ADN Spring 2019

Published

Anyone else applying to San Jac Spring 2019? Application dates are August 6, 2018 - October 8, 2018.

My rubric is currently 17 but I am in the middle of APII and taking Micro in the fall; that's an additional 2-6 points. HESI is 90.4.

You have to send in paperwork to the BON. The paperwork is on their website. It give you instructions on what to do. After that is sent in you will have to do your fingerprints. Once they review everything you will receive an outcome letter

Do you have a link to paperwork on BON's site? When I looked I don't see anything for a student to fill out and submit.

I tried to reply with the link but it said it had to be approved. Go to their website and search declaratory order and you will find the file to download.

Just heard from Linda Navejar at Central that they are still going over applications.

The Declaratory Order is only if I think I think something will flag in my background check and it allows the BON to do an investigation. That's not the regular backround check.

I am also confused about the BON.

I saw this on the BON website. Maybe we have to wait a few days to receive more info since we just got accepted and they may have barely sent our names.

"How quickly will I be able to schedule my fingerprint appointment? The BON makes every attempt to enter the rosters within ten (10) business days. We will send an email notification to your school when the information has been entered."

How did you get a hold of Mrs. Navejar? I've been calling & emailing & haven't had any luck

They told us at the information session that the BON needs to be done as soon as possible only if you have ever been arrested. They wouldn't process my BON without fingerprints. I scheduled my fingerprint appointment right after I sent in my paperwork to BON. About 10-20 days after that I got the outcome letter. She said once you are accepted into the program they do a more extensive background check. The BON adjust stated you are able to hold a license.

You don't have to do BON unless you answer yes to any of the questions listed on the declaratory order.

I emailed her yesterday.

I just stopped by the North ADN office they said that the committee is still reviewing the applications and that we should get an email no later than this week. (Acceptance and Denial emails)
