San Jacinto College ADN Fall 2012

[color=#008000]hello guys... i'm creating this post to keep track of acceptance into the adn program at san jacinto college.

Yeah, there was one up a long time ago that was specific to nursing . It was specifically for the nursing program 2 yr.

My CPR card has issue date & recommended renewal date at the front at the bottom. She wrote in the date like ... "July 20 2014"

Where's the mm/dd/yy suppose to be? Or does that count? And where? I'm sure all our cards are the same. At the front it says

"Healthcare Provider"

Then our name printed

Then issue date. Exp date

Turning my info in tommorow. Cpr card only has month and year. Hope thats good enough, guess theyll let me know tommorow.

Oh wait mine only has mm and yy ... Let me.know!!! Lol

For those of you who got titers done, how long did it take to get results? Where I went is taking freaking forever! Argh!

3 days, of course they didn't call me, I had to hound them a little.

I would be calling as soon as the next day to check. My.office said they would call and they didn't so...

I did this morning. Apparently the results are in but the dr hasn't read them yet. I think they do this because they like to watch us freak out!

On the CPR card it must say May 14, 2014 or 5/14/ 2014 for example, mine said May 2014 and was rejected! I just wanted to give y'all a heads up to avoid a wasted trip to turn in papers and be turned away.

Never gave up!

What the heck? Aren't most month and date?

Yep! My last 2 are MM/Year, I was told it "changed" as of June this year.....the lady I used said she's never heard of the change and looked on the American Heart Assoc instructor site & couldn't find the new requirement. Oh well I paid my $5 and had a new card issued

Never gave up!

Well thanks for the info! I guess u can be doing that as I wait for Deer Park Clinic to take their sweet time completing the titer portion of my physical form.
