Published

Hi everyone. Im wondering if any of you are planning on applying to San Jac ADN program or are in the program? Also, when applying will you be using option A, B or both? Lets talk about it here. :redbeathe

sorry I meant it only let me register for 1215 health assesment

:D

ok guys if you could please help me with the schedule thing exactly how many classes are we supposed to register for right now is it 1215 and 1413 only. It only register for 1215 health assesment ??? when do we register for the other two??

If Eyvette has cleared you and so has the counselor's office, you can register for 1215, 1413, 1144, and 1160 now. I've already registered for all 4. If you are a financial aid student (i.e. Pell Grants and such), there was a mix up earlier. It said that the RN program (as well as LVN and paramedics) wasn't eligible for fin aid. Mine has been cleared up and approved, but just in case this isn't true for everyone, keep an eye out on your bill to make sure. :nurse:

how do you sign up for the other 2 when only 1413 and 1215 schedules are on blackboard? just curious i'd like to be able to sign up for all now

That's awesome!! When u get to that point if u don't please post the chapters we need to read since some of us don't have access yet.. So we can get our reading on, too!!!! Thanks!!!!

quote from the announcements on bb

Please read chapters 1, 2, 3, 10, for Monday, August 23rd as this will be your first lecture after the orientation. (The test for these chapters will be Monday August 30th.)

I would recommend reading the chapters in the health assessment book, doing the workbook, then studying for the test. Test one is basically from the workbook so read and then answer the questions and then you are good to go for HA.

I would spend more time on the foundations test though, this is the hardest test of the 1st 8 weeks because you do not know how to take a Nursing test yet, and the test is over a million chapters.

Hope that helps!

DO NOT DO THE WORKBOOK IN ADVANCE! (health assessment)

It is for a grade every week, and your only allowed to do the chapter assigned for that specific week. If you work ahead, they will give you a ZERO for that assignment. That was how it was for me last semester, unless they changed it. My advise is to not fill out anything, but instead do it on a seperate piece of paper.

Good luck to you all.

Did you have to turn in your workbook for the first day of class? Or did they look at it the following week? Thanks!
