Hi everyone. Im wondering if any of you are planning on applying to San Jac ADN program or are in the program? Also, when applying will you be using option A, B or both? Lets talk about it here. :redbeathe

When do you have to buy the books and do you think the instructors change editions every year?

There are only a few books going to new editions this fall and they are reference books i.e. nursing diagnosis and the only one that comes out with a new edition every year is the drug guide. hope this helps!:D

Did anyone receive any kind of confirmation that the school has received the RSVP? I'm worried that maybe they didn't get it and i'll show up to orientation and not have a spot!! lol this is prob needless worrying but if i don't have a class to worry about i tend to focus on needless things.

When I sent my RSVP I noticed that there was a discrepancy with the dates on the deadline dates...so, I brought it up to someone's attention and she replied explaining that they use the same forms every year! Then, a couple of days later I received an updated deadline sheet with the correct dates...a classmate also received it. We also received an explanation of how the immunization will NOT be completed by Aug. 16th...I guess several students were questioning that.

If you have not received any emails other than the acceptance...you need to email her bc I have received three emails from her after the acceptance email. If you haven't received anything that tells me that she does not have you on the distribution list.

I called up there around 4:30 ish and no answer so i decided to email. hopefully it will be sorted all out by tomorrow. Mine could be delayed because I only got my acceptance 4 days ago! dunno hmm guess i will find out

She normally replies to the mails as soon as she can. She is very helpful.

Yes we did indeed get a few emails after the acceptance mails like- history and physical form; additional CPR class dates; correction dates for final reg; and a mail letting know of the confusions caused about the vaccination dates.

She will reply if you have sent one.

I guess your deadline was also yesterday was it?

How much the physical exam cost? Any resonable price out there?

During physical how they test vision & color acuity? Thanks.

physicals range in price depending on your medical provider... and are lots easier to stomach if you use insurance :)
