Wanted to start a blog on anyone trying for the Spring 2014 ADN program at San Jacinto. Going to take my first HESI A2 test on Aug. 28 and I am a little nervous. Hope I do well. I am still trying to get everything together so that I can turn in but all these injections and titters are driving me crazy. Has anyone else taken the HESI yet? any pointer you can give me?
RichardW, I actually went up there today and I was told that they are continuing to work through the weekend; to expect to hear something as late as Sunday. A couple of accepted students were waiting to speak to them as well about their acceptance confirmation. Hang in there! Hopefully we will hear one way or the other. :-)
I hope they plan to give us extra time to get the supplies that they were saying have to be purchased at orientation because it is the holidays and I know many of us have children and families that we have to provide for also many of the people haven't even found out if they have been accepted or not so that wouldn't be fair to ask a person to come up with 300-500 dollars in a day.
the acceptance letter strictly says that those supplies must be purchase at orientation...so I doubt they are going to give us extra time...so be prepared. It will be hard to come up with $450...but the company we are ordering from probably need the winter break to get the orders ready for spring 2014. So yes I agree with you..but sacrifices must be made..and we got to do what we got to do.I hope they plan to give us extra time to get the supplies that they were saying have to be purchased at orientation because it is the holidays and I know many of us have children and families that we have to provide for also many of the people haven't even found out if they have been accepted or not so that wouldn't be fair to ask a person to come up with 300-500 dollars in a day.
Yes is going be very interested because it is not fair how we all receive acceptance letters and respond to our email and have not confirm some of us and some that have a lower rubric score have been confirm the rule is the ones with highest rubric score get accepted to the program and they are telling us that they have no more spots available that is not fair we have all been waiting for this moment to get accepted and I dont know what is going on or why are they telling some people that they are still sending acceptance and rejection letters and the ones who have been accepted they are telling them there is no more spots available..this is our future we all want this so bad and they need to be fair..
