So I'm creating this post for all applicant to the San Jacinto nursing program for fall of 2014! I'm so excited to begin this journey after a lot of thought of whether i should do LVN or ADN and i have finally made my mind up. Good luck to you all! Do you mind sharing where you are in the process. Only been back in Houston for 2 months and have made my check list of what i need to complete before 05/01/14.:)
I believe you can use the book just not the access codes for prepu and docucare until school starts. Im just concerned about not being able to have access to the book long term. I know you can download it to four devices but what if your laptop stops working.?Or you upgrade your iphone (iphone 6 is coming out soon). What if u lose your phone or your ipad gets stolen? I know I am thinking about the worst case scenerios but they can happen. Im just nervous and anxious, dont know what to do!!!!
Oh I thought in order to get the book on your computer you still had to enter the access code they give you when you purchase. I may be wrong. We received so much info yesterday.
I'm not sure all the books the upreps and other stuff is kinda confusing..i wanted to get the books so I can start looking through them but I'm not sure what codes we can or can't put it..so seems like waiting is the best bet. Kinda wish we got a list of what came in that package.
Personally, I am leaning towards the digital books. I think the interactive parts will help... It will be weird not having any books though... i don't know a lot to consider there was a lot of info yesterday!!
Definitely too much info. For the first package, only the foundations book is digital and the rest are actual books. I know about you all but I wish there was somewhere we could find them for a better price. I glanced through amazon and ebay, not much of a difference price wise. Maybe I'm not searching right. Did anyone buy the package yesterday? If so, was it with finacial aid?
i thought she was going to get a package put together for all the books to be digital for those who wanted that?all i can say is im thankful for financial aid lol
