SFSU ABSN Summer 2023 Nursing Program

I haven't seen anyone start a thread for SFSU's ABSN program this year. Hoping to connect with people who applied for Summer 2023! 

Does anyone know if we need to submit official transcripts to NursingCAS only? Thanks!

Hey, I wanted to reach out and ask if any of you had heard how this ABSN program operates. How many days per week are you face to face, When are you in clinical and so on? I applied to another bay Area ABSN and see they are going maybe 1-2 days a week face to face and clinical on weekends?

Hi! I would stick with the 200 word limit ?

88.7% TEAS, 3.7 GPA, 1.5 years of EMT experience, and some volunteering.

Hi! I just received mine this week.

However, if you do not have it, I was instructed to "input all 9's in the ID section (999999999) so you can submit your NursingCas application on time. Once you receive your SFSU ID number then please email us as soon as possible."

Hi everyone,

My responses are all a little over 200 words right now. Do you think that's okay? Or I should edit them so they're all under 200 words? I'm not sure how strict they will be with this.

would anyone happen to know how to check what stage of the process were in? I saw from the previous threads from this program that some people could see that their applications were "under review" but I don't know how they saw that? I checked my sfsu student gateway but it doesnt look like its there and I checked my student center and nothing there either

I checked my SFSU gateway right now and it says I do not have a current active application at this time. Was that what it said you for as well?

I also got the same thing on my SFSU gateway, no current active application. Hopefully, we will get some sort status update soon.

Hi all, 

Im just curious if anyone has heard anything back yet or knows when decisions are expected to come? I feel like there isn't much information provided but maybe I am missing something.

No updates for me. The only thing I saw on the website was that candidates would be notified in the Spring.  So it seems like we've got a bit of a wait still ?

I am also on the same boat, when I check my status on MySFSU, it says that I don't currently have an active application. I emailed the school and was given different information, one person said I had to submit another official transcript, another email said everything was complete and ready for review. I am kind of feeling skeptical, what is going on???
