San Diego State Nursing Program

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Published

Hi I'm new to this board and I've found a great deal of comfort just by reading all the threads with people in the same situation as I am in. :)

I currently go to a community college in San Diego with hopes to transferring to the BSN program at San Diego State University (SDSU). They go by a very rigorous point system that is quite discouraging at times :crying2: .. There is a total of 87 points to be accumulated. I guessed how many points I might be able to accumulate before i apply and I came up with 64 points!!!! I have a little over a 3.0 GPA (i'm overall a B student) .. and i still need to take Organic Chemistry and MicroBiology to even apply to the program. If ANYONE out there has applied or gotten into SDSU nursing school please advise me!! do if I even have a chance with 64 points? I would also appreciate any advice or stories from people who are familiar with this college. Thank You!
