San Diego City College, anybody in?

Hey I was just wondering if they did send out their orientation letters? If you did just get accepted, how long did you wait for? I'm just really close on that list but I think I just missed getting the letter. So I hope some people are dropping out for other schools. I'm not sure how much longer I can wait!!!!

Well i bought the first quarter of books. I still need to buy the ones that we will use in october. i went to the bookstore today to buy the syllabi and the nursing handbook. the fundamentals syllabus is like as big as a textbook. I bought all my school supplies too and stethoscope. I got my uniform ready too. This is costing a lot of money. lol. I went to get the add codes but I need to buy the ATI first so I have to hold off for a little bit. Did you get your stuff?

I got everything. The only thing I need is one more book. I have been ordering my books online, much cheaper. I went to the book store tuesday and picked up the print outs. Are you in group A or B? Turns out I am going to miss August 4th:cry:

Grossmont called me and I told them I am going to city. o put my name on grossmonts list 6 months proir to cities! Looks like city's list goes faster.

yeah grossmont hasn't even called me yet and i put them on at the same time. I'm in group A. How about you? Yeah I'm going on Tuesday, I'll fill you in if there is anything of importance.

Congratulations on getting into City!! From the information on their website, it looks like they're doing away with wait lists and are going to a points system. I'm hoping this will work in my favor, but I also don't know if I'll be living in SD at the time I finish my prereq's. Dang, nursing is HARD to get into these days. It's worth it. Good job you two!!! :yeah:
