Hi Everyone,
The application for SD City College ADN is soon to end!
I kinda wanted to create a topic for SD City College Fall 2018 applicants. If you can, please share your possible points. I am looking into getting 85-87 points. Do I have a chance of getting in?
THANKS EVERYONE!
Hi! I'm also planning to apply in Fall 2019. Incase you haven't become aware, they JUST changed this on 4/24... CNA license is no longer required to apply (for now)
Thank you SO much for responding. Can you please tell me where or how you got this information? I've been emailing the counselors and haven't gotten any responses. Thanks again!
You're welcome! I went to the informational workshop this morning. It's not required now, but it's still a good idea to do it because the CNA license is worth 5 pts on the application, and relevant work is an additional 5 pts.
Thanks again! I still plan on getting the CNA license but was worried about the timeframe. I was at the San Diego Continue Ed Orientation for CNA this morning and was bummed to find out the CNA courses were already filled for this summer. So this is a big relief.
May I ask if you already have your CNA license? If so, do you have any recommendations on where to go for CNA classes?

I got my cna training at western medical training at el cajon. It is sort of expensive (around 1800). But they do have a weekend program if you have stuff on the weekdays. The weekend program is about 3 months to finish.
Hi everyone, I just finished my last pre req and am looking forward to applying this fall. I'm a little unclear about how to fulfill the immunizations requirement. I have scoured all the info and I haven't found any listed immunizations that I need. So when it comes to the application time, do I just turn in a copy of my yellow card? Thanks for the help!
Does anyone here know how many times you can retake the TEAS test? I know if u fail your first examination, you can do a remediation plan to retake it again within one year after your first. But, what if you fail that again? Is that it forever? Or do the same process for the following year? I hope someone can answer

Thank you SO much for commenting on this. Is this information made public anywhere? Or can you tell me how you found out? I've emailed the Nursing Counselors at City College and have not gotten a response.
As of 04/25/2018 - they have not updated their website below and still have this posted:
"California Certified Nursing Assistant CNA Active license will be required 2018 application period."
