San Diego City College ADN FALL 2018

Published

Hi Everyone,

The application for SD City College ADN is soon to end!

I kinda wanted to create a topic for SD City College Fall 2018 applicants. If you can, please share your possible points. I am looking into getting 85-87 points. Do I have a chance of getting in?

THANKS EVERYONE!

Any one in the bridge program get any updates about class starting next week? I'm not sure if I'm missing any communication with the professors but I haven't received an email since the last email about paying ATI. Just want to be sure I'm not missing out on anything

I haven't received anything

Does anyone know if theres orientation for the LVN to RN students?

Regarding the ATI, this is what they emailed me The books typically arrive by mid-April. The course professors will notify the students regarding the pick-up date and time for the ATI books."

Does anyone know if we can do this transition course online?

Has anyone ever transferred in their LVN to RN transition course from a different school???

Does the second nursing success course start on Thursday April 5th and not April 2 anymore?

Yeah looks like they changed it last minute :( I have to switch my work schedule AGAIN

hey guys! i'm hoping to apply in 2019 and was wondering if you could help with some questions? i emailed the counselor but haven't heard back yet. i know city college requires a CNA license in 2018 for new applicants....

1) are we also required to be actively working as a CNA at the time of applying? or is it okay just to have an active license?

2) since i still have another year before i am eligible to apply, i was wondering if i should wait to get my CNA license.

If you can you should just get it out of the way. That way you don't have to scramble to put together your application. Also, being a cna can really help you as a nurse in my opinion. So the longer you have your license for and work as a cna the more prepared you can potentially be. As far as having to actively work I don't know. But you can always work at a registry like one day a week.

I got accepted with just having a cna license, so I guess they will give you points for it even if you are not actively working as a cna.

Hi! I'm also planning to apply in Fall 2019. Incase you haven't become aware, they JUST changed this on 4/24... CNA license is no longer required to apply (for now)
