San Bernardino Valley College Nursing spring 2018

Published

Hey everyone

whether you are an alumni, already in the nursing program or are int he same boat as me and just applied to SBVC nursing for the spring 2018 semester coming up, i would like to hear your insight!

What were your points when you were accepted or when you applied? What was your science GPA? How are you liking the program, if you are already accepted.

ANY insight would be amazing!! I'm in the process of just waiting to hear back and its killing me, so id like to see where i stand with other applicants!

thank you!!!!!

Congratulations!!! That's awesome... I will call next week. I wonder why they still want students to take the HESI?

Do you know how many people they accept in the program?

I believe generic=55 ish and bridge=8-10

That would be awesome

Does anyone know if this schools hesi tests on chemistry, biology, physics? I know certain schools test on certain subjects. I don't want to waste time focusing on things that won't be on there.

Reading comprehension, vocabulary, math, critical thinking, anatomy, physiology, & microbiology. Chem & physics excluded. Per the HESI info section on valley.edu

I know same I don't wanna waste either but I would guess for sure math, grammar/comprehension, and anatomy. I am studying the chemistry and biology though too

Does anyone know what subjects are going to be on the Hesi Exam?

Lol! I just saw the list of subjects! í ½í¸‚í ½í¸‚

How is micro tested?? The hesi book doesn't offer that section. Would it just be biology then??

I would assume so!

It isn't very specific on micro itself but just study all the sciences

Are we allowed to use calculators at all?

They are supposed to have calculators provided on the screen from what i heard. How's everyone's studying going?
