San Antonio College RN Program Fall 2021

Hi Everyone! I did not see a group for the Fall 2021 application period, so I went ahead and created it. I believe the cut off date for applications is Feb 15th and my advisor told me 45-60 days from there. Can't wait to hear from everyone so we can be anxious together LOL. 

Got the packet!! So, as far as uniforms go...white tops and black bottoms! The guide book says "equivalent" to the brands listed below. Do y'all think we can choose any brand we like?

Where did you find this information at? My packet just says which forms to turn in and how to get drug tested.

In the hand book. It is last years, but they seem to keep things the same .

Do you all have any idea on what the schedule will be for the first semester?

It says on page 2 but it doesn’t say hours or expected times. super generic but I wrote it below 

2 theory courses 1 hour

1 theory class 4 hours 

1 lab 

1 clinical

Has anybody else taken most of these classes that are listed in the first two semesters? Do you think that if we have, they will make us retake them? Just thought I would ask here before emailing the secretary.

I’ve taken all of the pre-requisites. It’s my understanding that they are required for admission. If they are not completed by the end of Summer 2, I’m not sure if they’d let a student in without them.

No. Those are your prereqs. We are starting on "semester 3" they just list those to show they are part of the degree requirements

I have not. I did go get drug tested yesterday!

Nice! I’ve got almost everything together except a blood test to prove I have immunity to chicken pox. I’ll ask my doctor for the titer next week when I see her for my annual checkup.
