San Antonio College RN Program Fall 2021

Hi Everyone! I did not see a group for the Fall 2021 application period, so I went ahead and created it. I believe the cut off date for applications is Feb 15th and my advisor told me 45-60 days from there. Can't wait to hear from everyone so we can be anxious together LOL.

I will be applying for the Fall 2021 application period as well. Is this your first year applying?

Yes ? I was waitlisted for UTA over the Summer and ultimately did not get in for their AOBSN program. I put in all my stuff and took the TEAS and everything, I just wish I knew what the average student profile looked like. 

Is this your first time as well?

This is my first time applying to this school. I applied to long beach bridge program but sadly did not get in. How many points are you sitting on with this new point system. I just want to start already. I am afraid of submitting my application and miss something or not add the correct documents/proof.

Hi there for SAC, I think when I calculated it I was at a 14.38 total between Science GPA, overall GPA, TEAS. I got 7 out of 8 points for my TEAS. I just wish I knew what the average applicant accepted looked like. However, SAC told me they do not keep track of that information. I submitted all my stuff before I completed a wintermester class but they would update it anyway after the app closed in 2/15.

Hi!! I’m also applying for the Fall 2021 semester. I have refreshed my email about a thousand times even though I know it’s not until April. I am so excited and nervous.

OMG same!  I am assuming the 45-60 countdown started after the Feb 24th extension. I know they send it to our personal emails first and I've started the refreshing haha. Good luck!

That makes it the end of April. This is going to be agony! I think I did pretty well on my classes and the TEAS so I’m hopeful. I’ve decided though that if I don’t get in that I’ll finish pre reqs for BSN and hope for the best.

I wish there was something we could see like an average profile of acceptance scores/grades. But there isn't, I hope we hear something this coming week or two. I was waitlisted last Summer and declined eventually for UTA. The wait is exhausting LOL

Has anyone done the BLS already? I wasn't sure if it was best to wait until we had a decision or just do it now.

I have my BLS already because I work at a hospital. It’s up to you, but, if it were me I’d do it now because there will be a huge rush for all the nursing students for all the many programs starting for fall and it may prove difficult to find a time that works best for you. Besides, even if you weren’t accepted (which I’m sure you will be based on your previous comments!) it’s an important skill set to have under your belt. You never know when you’d need it.

How's everyone holding up? I'm in agony. The FBI agent assigned to monitor me must think I'm absolutely insane, refreshing my email 100 times a day. I'll check it and think "Okay, that's enough checking today. Just wait and check tomorrow." Then, before I know it, I'm already back in the app refreshing it. Checking my spam and junk mail juuuuuust in case.
