Samuel Merritt University (SMU) ABSN Summer 2024

Hi all! Wanted to start a discussion for those who applied for Summer 2024 cohorts at Samuel Merritt so we can support each other. I applied to the Oakland and San Mateo campuses. I'm also excited to hear back if I got in to the Nursing Success Seminar January 2024 program. 

My portal updated! I was accepted for Oakland! Congrats everyone! I'm so relieved LOL.

GUYS! I didn't get the email yet BUT!! The admitted portal updated for me!! I've read on the other SMU ABSN threads that this updates first before they send out the emails. Check yours out! Yay!!

Mine said that last time I tried it, and it also said it like 15 minutes ago too and I tried once more and it just automatically refreshed to that page LOL I was surprised. keep trying to login!

click on "checklist" if you are on a computer. If you are looking at it on your phone, click on the little circle on the bottom right of the page and click on checklist from there.

when I do that it just says application being reviewed so I guess there's no decision yet :/

Specializes in TBD.

If you applied to two campuses and got in to your second choice, do you think they put you on a waitlist to move to your first choice before the cohort starts or is the one you're admitted to it? Grateful regardless, just thinking through it all!
