This is a thread for applicants who applied to Samuel Merritt for the ELMSN program for Fall 2024.

It would be better if we weren't given a specific date to expect an email, but rather told that they would email us soon. We waited all day on Friday to not receive anything on their end.

So you did get an email to check the portal? I wish they just sent an email with decisions- accepted, waitlisted, or denied. Seeing that my app is still being reviewed is giving me false hope. 😕

I was finally able to log in and see that my application is still being reviewed as well so I'm in the same boat! If someone doesn't mind sharing, does anyones portal say denied or rejected?

IDK what I was expecting since it just said my app was being reviewed. I parked at work and logged in one last time and it changed to it saying "Congratulations!". @Emily Vu I was not hopeful at all after seeing people post how they were accepted or waitlisted, started to even cry.. but you just never know. I wish they did the email us directly instead of finding out the way we did... I wish you luck!!

I didn't even get an official email about being accepted, just a link and e-mail address for SMU.

Wow congratulations! Did you get accepted to both program? Do you mind sharing your stat here

Question, how do you create a portal that links to your application? I tried creating one but it says the student portal is for accepted student only LOL nothing about application processing and etc. Thanks!
