Hello everyone! I wanted to start a forum for those applying to the ELMSN FNP or CM program at Samuel Merritt for 2025!  I am currently applying to the ELMSN FNP in Sacramento which should be starting in January 2025. If anyone is also applying (either location) for the beginning of 2025 please reply and share any thoughts and questions! 🙂

I was told I was accepted into the ABSN program, and the deposit is due before the ELMSN interviews, so I'm wondering if I should pay the deposit just to secure my place or if that would forfeit my ELMSN application?

I think that is something you should think about before deciding. I think once you accept ABSN and pay for your seat it's likely non refundable. Since your ABSN seat is guaranteed and FNP is still in the air for you it's just a decision you should think about!

I don't know tbh. It's only 48 seats total and 24 per each pathway.

Typically the emails arnt sent in waves. If they don't have enough people interview they do send out like a last minute Hail Mary email to get people to interview and accept. That was the case last Fall cycle!

What is the deadline for the deposit? I am on the waitlist for ABSN so I'm curious to know.

I'm not sure if everyone has the same deadline, but they gave me 10/3 as a due date.
