Updated:   Published

Hi guys, it looks like no one has started a forum thread for Samuel Merritt Universities 2025 start date yet so I thought I'd start one.

Hi everyone,

Good luck to everyone interviewing, Does anyone know when we can hear back from them post-interview?

I was just told a couple weeks but it wasn't specified how many

How does everyone feel about the interview?

Does anyone know when we would expect to hear back? The faculty interview flew by so fast, I forgot to ask. I thought I could wait but not having a deadline is actually making me overthink a little more than I would like 😭. I saw that in previous cohort the faculty addressed a timeline on decisions, but for this year they didn't share that info ahead of time.

From looking at the past few years, it seems they call you with an acceptance a few weeks after the interview followed by an email.

how did you feel your interview went?

@nivi15Interview felt like 10 minutes. 😳 I wish I could have more time to share my story more, but it comes down to what they ask and from what I'm hearing, everyone gets a  variety of different questions. So if you haven't interviewed, I would recommend squeezing all your important points across every question that applies. I didn't expect to have such an active mind post interview. I can't help but to think about my responses and their questions, like if I under or over thought it. So hopefully they let us know asap. 🥲

but, to answer your question. I really enjoyed the faculty interview. It went by so fast. They asked me general questions where I feel like I could share the type of person I am. So I felt comfortable speaking my heart out on topics I genuinely feel excited for. I think the hard part is just accepting if they do or don't like you but I wouldn't regret having answers with my personality. The student panel felt longer. They were more heavy on situational questions which tired me out faster. I think my expectations of having no situational questions is what made it more challenging for me.

I'm pretty impressed with that whole process! Getting to chat with the current student before hand was really great and getting to practice a few manikin epidurals was super neat.. wasn't expecting that!
I feel like both interviews flew by! Best of luck to everyone!…. And now we wait 🫣🤪

The interview was great. This faculty truly makes you feel comfortable and at ease. The current SRNA's are very friendly as well. The process felt like interacting with a big family.

Also I asked SRNA's (forgot to ask faculty) they said it's usually quick first week of March, by phone call.

Good Luck to everyone! Don't stress just be yourself and have fun ❤️

I agree! they do make you feel so comfortable how they mix up the questions. I truly enjoyed my time there.

I heard that decision will be made over the weekend and will get a call on following Monday usually. Best of luck everyone!
