I was just wondering if anyone's applying to SMU's ELMSN - Case Management for Spring 2019?

I took my HESI today and I can finally complete my application. Hopefully I have enough time to get everything in by the July 1 deadline.

Cvnursing and boymum, I'm glad that you made it to the interview round! I can understand how disheartening that may be to have them question previous grades and pre-reqs. I only applied to the ABSN program, but some of my pre-reqs date back pretty far also. And some of my grades from my first degree are not pretty (not at all). I really hope that they look at us as a whole package. I can't imagine that they don't understand that people change and can become more driven as the mature. I did take the opportunity to explain my previous grades on my application, because unlike the Master's candidates, we are not given a face-to-face interview. I often have wished that we had that chance to show them our personality and determination first hand. I hope that meeting you in person gives them that chance to see you as a person and not just a grade. Best of luck to you both and everyone who is applying this round!!

Has anyone heard back yet? I've been waiting all day for an email since they told me today would be the day!! I interviewed 2 weeks ago for the FNP track!

I interviewed 9/7/18 and the panel mentioned that we would hear back by the end of the September (clearly that did not happen). Much like yourselves, I too am getting a bit anxious and have been obsessively checking my email, especially since I applied to both FNP and ABSN. I feel like everyone did so well but seats are limited. Hopefully we hear back real soon!

They told you today would be the day?! When I interviewed on the 26th they told us it could take up to a month from Friday!! Ahh!

Sounds like we were all told different dates. The wait is killing me!

I keep checking my email and every time it shows I have a new one, my heart starts to race! This wait is torture!

Seems like they gave later dates the later people were interviewed. V_Grey18 interviewed 9/7 and was told end of september, jackiewackie44 interviewed 9/19 and was told october 1, and kayrh10 interviewed 9/26 and was told as late as 10/28.

If we get admitted/waitlisted/denied, do we all get notified at the same time, and by email?

i was interviewed on 9/25 and was told early October.

They roll admissions decisions so people find out if they got in or not in batches from what prior cohorts posted. Some people who got in found out october 11 and some people found out they got in later on in october, same with waitlist and denials. So once they start going out its a waiting game until yours comes in.
