Samuel Merritt University App CRNA 2023

Hey all,

Let's watch this Samuel Merritt University application process together!

Notes: the app went live August 15 2022, the deadline to submit is October 15, 2022. This is the second year of Samuel Merritt doing doctorate CRNA rather than masters, and last year it looks like the app opening/closing deadline was different than what it is this year.

Hi everyone, wishing you all good vibes in preparing for interviews. I was wondering if anyone had any info on if they noticed any extra interview slots available or a deadline on selecting an interview date for those who received an invitation. I got a waitlist email on the possibility of receiving an invite but it says to keep checking back anytime between now and March ?, looking for any hope on holding out. Thank you!

Last years 2021 or 2022 Samuel Merritt application cycle had: 107 applicants, 60 interviews, and a class size of 28 students. So about a 26% acceptance rate. Good luck to everybody. My random thought is that it is four days of interview with 60 interviewees. Are the interviews only 30 minutes long or they must have many interviews in one day?

Are those official statistics? 107 applicants for a decently known program seems extremely low. The interviews are 30 mins and there's many per day.

Not official, I got it off the CRNA schoolfinder spreadsheet for 2022. They compile information about every CRNA school and put it on a spreadsheet. I paid I think $8 for this. So it better be near accurate. LOL

Hey, I got one of those waitlist email too and was sent an invite on 2/16. I just signed up for an interview and there weren't many options as of 2/18. There was only 4 available time slots but be hopeful! They gave me a deadline for 2/21 and said they will move onto another candidate if I did not schedule an interview by then. Wish you luck!!
