Hi ya'll, starting a discussion for those who applied to Summer 2025 cohort at SMU! I'm curious to know if anyone has gotten any emails/updates? I personally applied to the Oakland campus. Goodluck everyone! : ).

Not yet, I'll be applying for Fresno soon. Do you happen to know their course schedules? Like time the classes start n end?

I applied to the Fresno location, and I have not received any notifications as of yet. Does anyone know when notifications will go out for this application cycle? By any chance, did anyone apply to the Nursing Success Seminar for a Spring 2025 attendance?

Hi, I am currently applying! I chose the San Mateo campus as #1 and Oakland as my #2 😊

Wow, it seems like many are choosing the San Mateo or Fresno location! I live in Oakland, plus downtown is like 12 minutes away from my area so it just makes the most sense for me. 

Also I'm curious if everyone has all the prerequisites done? I feel like I was hasty in applying for the Summer since I still have pathology and pharmacology left : (.

I still have path and pharm left too! Does anyone know when decisions are usually released?

San Mateo campus is my first choice! I just received an e-mail about my preliminary review. It seems so soon I'm still missing one letter of rec! Should I be worried or is there still enough time?

I also received an email for my preliminary review! And I think you should be able to add a letter of rec still through nursingcas? May want to reach out to them or Samuel Merritt. Goodluck!!

I haven't received an email regarding my preliminary review, and I chose Fresno as my first choice and San Mateo as my second and third choice. Regarding letters of recommendation, you should call NursingCAS and ask them if you are still able to add your last letter of recommendation. They are really helpful!

I signed up for pharmacology for the Spring semester; I would love to take it with anyone here if interested!

I still have pharm and path left too! I also have retake english and stats because they did not accept the ones from my first degree 😞

Me too. I still have a few prerequisites I'm doing on portage learning. I believe Fresno cohort starts April/may. No I haven't applied for that.
