Hello fellow applicants. It's been 3 weeks since the submission deadline and I'm getting nervous?. I don't think this cycles' group has been made so I assume no one has been invited to an interview yet. Best of luck to us all?

Hey everyone! I officially accepted the FNP and denied the CM program. So someone on the waitlist for CM just got a spot!!!! Congrats. Also I want to join the FB page. Please let me know when one is created! I can’t wait to meet you all.

I wonder if I can do that if I have no yet received an email from smu notifying me of admission to the fnp program. I got one notifying me of admission to the absn program and giving me info on how to sign on to all the websites. Through that, I was able to accept/decline. But can I go through with it before I get the email? The uncertainty is unbearable.

Congrats everyone who got into the FNP! Can't wait to meet everyone in the cohort.

I’m having a hard time making the $350 payment. I accepted the letter of intent already. How do I go about making the payment.

If the portal says you are admitted, then you can accept it. I called Katherine Leyva because I never got the official FNP acceptance email, but I did Have acceptance to FNP on the portal. She said I can accept the FNP without the email because it states I’ve been admitted.

I had trouble as well. The login is your first name then a period then your last name. You don’t use the email address ending “@samuelmerritt.edu” see if that works. It worked for me

I was about to log in. I can’t findwhere I need to pay. I looked under “financial” but I still don’t see where I need to make the payment.

I paid my deposit and submitted my letter of intent. I believe you can pay the deposit once you get your new permanent password for your SMU account. You just have to submit $350 towards the University afterwards and should get a new checklist of things to do after.

How quickly do you need to submit the LOI? I don’t see where it says to do it by?

It should be in your admission email. Mine says I have to submit it by 10/24.

So I have to just submit $350 towards spring 2020?

Pretty much. There’s no exact window where you pay the deposit. You just have to pay $350 to the University for the applicable semester. It should be under the financials, something like SMUF? Hope this helped.

I thought you had to complete the letter of intent and payment before the deadline. I would call or email Katherine Leyva ASAP about this. I wouldnt wait to pay if I were you.

I meant “Window” as in there’s no link that will directly take you to pay the deposit. I probably should’ve worded that better.
