I couldn't find an existing thread on Samuel Merritt's MSN FNP program so here I am!

Anyone applied for Spring 2024? 
I submitted my application last week and the suspense is killing me!

@jb924 @futurenp_dt Hi! Congrats on your interview! I was invited for an interview as well but mine is on Thursday. What guidelines did they give us? I didn't see that in my email for some reason? TIA & good luck on your interview! ☺️

Good luck on your interview!? And the "guidelines" are on their website! It's under "ELMSN Interviews & Hints.” It's just basic info like why do you want to be an FNP vs RN and just more info on the interview itself, but it's still pretty vague. I hope that helps!

And SAMEEEE I'm so nervous... at least we have the guidelines, but I'm not sure what sort of tasks we'd be completing. Maybe it's just to gauge how well we work together as a team or take on leadership roles?? So nerve-wracking!

I spoke to some current FNP students at SMU and they said we will have a task to complete together (? I am not sure what or how we do this via zoom) and it's less about ourselves and our background (???) I am so nervous but I am preparing per the guidelines on their website.

Hi! I think it went really well but who knows! They said they'll have decisions made on Friday and we'll be getting emails Mon-Wed next week. 
 

Is your interview tomorrow? Good luck!

I'm glad you feel good about it! What kind of exercise did they have you do? Did they ask you any questions individually? And wow! I can't believe they're making decisions that fast! But at least we won't be waiting to hear back for an eternity LOL

That's great to hear, hope you get in! Yup, I have my interview tomorrow a bit nervous LOL. Do you remember what kind of questions they asked and the exercise you had to do? TIA! ☺️
