Hello!
I have a question about the GPA calculation. Did you guys calculate the last 60 units and sGPA on your own? I might have to do that later.
Healthcare experience: 4000+ clinical hours in healthcare through a hands-on intensive hospital volunteer program (348 hours), 1 year working at a drug rehabilitation center, 1.5 year working at a psychiatric health unit, and so far, 7 months at a mental health residential facility.
Bachelor of Arts in Dance
Overall HESI: 93.6%
Anxiously waiting to see if I get an interview or not. If I don't, I just want to go through my grieving process and then move on and focus on other programs for this cycle lol. I am already thinking of where I can improve on my application--retake HESI and get at least 90% in the A&P section (I got 80%) and perhaps get back into volunteering.
My calculation was done on my own. With 10 years of college through 6 different community colleges over the years, I created an excel sheet to determine cumulative, last 30, 60 and prerequisite gpa for multiple programs.
I also have not heard about an interview yet. Eagerly waiting and checking my email/junk mail daily!
Hey guys! I also applied to the program. Really hoping to get in. The wait is killing me! Has anyone heard anything yet? When should we be expecting an email for an interview? I read mid-September but wasn't sure if anyone has any updates. Good luck to everyone! Looking forward to being colleagues!

Hey, first post here! Just wanted to see if anybody else has applied to Samuel Merritt's ELMSN FNP for January 2018. I will be submitting my app within the next few days, and can't wait to hear back from them. Anybody else applying to this cohort? What did your stats look like when you applied? I have a 3.7 last 60 unit and 3.7 science GPA, my overall HESI was a 94% and I have 6 years as an ER tech and 6 years pre-hospital as an EMT and paramedic. Thanks in advance for any help/tips!
