Hi everyone,

I am glad that we are already working together and supporting one another in our goal to become a FNP. I was lucky to not have to wait for that call because I was an early admit this year, but I know the stress of waiting since I was waitlisted the past year. I wish to congrat all the accepted people so far and to wish goodluck to all waiting on the waitlist. I also wanted to tell everyone that even if you don't make it this year that you should never give up on your dream, that with hard work and determination you will make that dream a reality.

fg84- congrats on getting in! You must be so excited to start. What number were you on the waitlist last year?

That must have been very frustrating, but you stuck with your goals and now you are going to be in SMU. Did you apply anywhere else while you waited? All of the city college deadlines are coming up soon and I have to start reapplying there in order to have a backup plan in case my number doesn't come up.

Well since I applied last year I just continued taking courses at my local community college, and worked as a science teacher.

fg84- do you have a lot of writing assignments in the ABSN program? I haven't done much writing since I returned to school from a long break and now I'm realizing that maybe I need to work on it if we will have papers due.

So I heard that orientation is November 19th, that should be a good indicator for us waitlisters! How is everyone else holding up, I know I'm in suspense :grn:
