First post here, it will be time to submit applications by December 1st. I am almost done with my application and am just starting this thread to see if anyone else is applying to the Fall 2018 program? Lets get a good thread started so we can keep each other updated on interviews and acceptance!

I was waitlisted for the FNP program too, but received an acceptance email for the CM program this morning. I interviewed for CM on Monday the 26th. Looking forward to meeting everyone in September!

It was through my regular email but I've been aware that there have been some issues with gmail? I called to confirm my email and Anne Seed told me that they have problems with gnail

Hey everyone, I am currently in SMU's FNP program and wanted to extend some of my knowledge with some of you who are nervous. I absolutely love the school, and I am glad I chose it over other programs. Let me know if I can be of any help to anyone and good luck with the application process. My only advice is to be extremely patient with the change in deadlines and the waiting game. It'll be worth it :)

Hi anaprada, are you currently in the SMU FNP program at the Oakland campus or Sacramento campus? I have been waitlisted for the Fall 2018 Oakland cycle and am making preparations to apply for the Spring cycle if the waitlist doesn't pan out for me. I've visited the Oakland campus, but cannot find very much information about the Sacramento campus. If you have any insight on the Sacramento SMU campus/know any Sacramento SMU students, I would appreciate any insight you have!

Hi! I am actually at the Sacramento campus. I love it. It is super small, so that can be a downside but it also provides a more intimate environment so you really get to know the classes above you. All the people on campus try to help you out, and so far my professors have been awesome.

Hi, unfortunately no one from the waitlist got accepted from my cohort but I've heard some other cohorts did accept people from waitlist
