I will be re-applying for the ELMNS spring 2015 program at the sacramento campus. Is anyone also doing the same?

Anyone else feeling antsy? Should be hearing something this week! I think the re-applicants interview date is Sept. 13th. Hope we all hear something soon! GL ?

Is Sept. 13th interview only for the re-applicants?

I've been reading other threads, and it makes sense for the re-applicants to be interviewed last. According to the admissions email/timeline, there are 3 interview dates. Looks like they let the candidates know at least a week before the interview if they're invited.

@ALXiong: Any tips/suggestions for the interview?

I know it can be nerved cracking to go into something unknown, but I do not want to disclose too much information about the interview because you are not the only one who is going to be interviewing. You also can look up some old threads on allnurses, which some posts had talked about specific things during interview for this program. I just want to focus that why you want to be FNP and know how PPACA affects healthcare. What can you bring to the nursing profession like your past experience, your previous professions outside of healthcare? Lastly, be polite and respectful of others because healthcare is team work. I am sure that you are an outstanding candidate, but this interview is the chance to show how you can make a difference as a FNP in the future. Good luck!

I know, right? To date I still haven't received anything besides the initial email confirming they received my application. I emailed the admissions counselor earlier this week for an update but they haven't replied yet. I hope we hear something soon!

I appreciate you sharing this information! I was getting worried so I scanned through my junk mail to see if I missed any emails. I also read past forums from 2014 & 2013 and both posted that they already received the second email stating "your application has been passed for faculty review" by this time. I hope we get some news some time soon!!

I applied for the CM track. The one email I did receive said the interviews are going to be held September 23, 24, 25. What are the days that NP interviews are being held?

Wow that is spaced out compared to the CM track. I hope whoever interviewed today the best of luck!!

Believe me, I did the same thing. Checked my junk mail and even my deleted mail just in case. Checked the past forums and found the same information you did. That's crazy that some people received the followup email and the interview dates and some haven't. Hope that's not a bad sign.
