Hello
I will be re-applying for the ELMNS spring 2015 program at the sacramento campus. Is anyone also doing the same?
I applied to the ELMSN FNP program and the ABSN program. Where did you guys get the number of applicants from? I received the initial email verifying they received my application but nothing else yet. Good luck to everyone!
Hello! I received the initial email a few days after I submitted my application (back in May) which was more or less a confirmation that the school received it. Then on Monday, July 21st, I got an email from the admissions counselor. The email stated that the applications are under review, how many CM applicants there are, then gave a timeline of the review process. For the CM track, interviews will be September 23-25th, then acceptance will be given between September 25th- early October.
I noticed the the school posted a timeline on its application page for the FNP track for ELMSN 2015 applicants. It also gave advice for the interview.
Hope this helps :)
It definitely helps, thanks for sharing! So it sounds like they're sending out follow-up emails of some sort saying how many applicants there were and what the next steps are. You received one for the CM program and someone else on here received one for the FNP program (saying they had 92 applicants). I haven't received anything like that yet, just that original email acknowledging that they'd received my application. But now I know to keep an eye out for it. Thanks for sharing guys, let's keep each other posted!

Hi everyone! I applied for the ELMSN CM and ABSN programs. I haven't received any other email besides the confirming email that my application was received. I am technically a re-applicant from the 2014 ELMSN program, but somehow my app last year was lost in the shuffle (paper app), so they are considering me a new applicant.
Good luck to you all, and I am looking forward to hearing updates. This wait make me crazy!
Hi everyone,
I have also applied for the spring ELMSN FNP program. I am not a re-applicant, but look forward to meeting/hearing updates from all of you. Having never applied to this program before, I am a bit curious about everyone's application stats such as GPA and TEAS scores. I guess I'll start this off by stating my own stats. My last 90 quarter units come out to around 3.8 and my prereqs are around 3.7. I scored an individual adjusted score of 90.7 on the TEAS with 96.7 in math and 92.9 in reading. I'd like to hear from anyone else that's willing to share, just to know how I compare to the rest of the competitive applicant pool. Good luck, I hope to meet some of you in the near future.

R
@ fnp2b23: How much does experience count? I don't have any direct nursing experience, but have volunteered at a clinic that caters towards the under served population for about 2 years. In your opinion, do you think that would be considered a decent amount of experience? Also to be more specific, the healthcare providers at the clinic happen to be NPs.
