Hello, anyone waiting to hear from Samuel Merritt's ABSN program for 2008?

don't lose faith. a former classmate of mine who has pretty much the same stats as I do has not received anything yet either. she's applying to the Oakland campus which is much harder to get into. Unless they got a whole bunch of apps just recently there weren't that many for San Francisco/San Mateo

Hi, if this helps, i spoke to one of the advisors at SMC, and for San Mateo, as of yesterday there were 55 applicants while they will only accept 48.

Im sooo scared and pretty much cannot sleep at night. . Please pray for those of us who have not received a letter and pray that we get a seat in the house of SMC

I can barely sleep at night either rockypooh.

Maybe the delay is caused by the order of in which the applications were received? I don't know.

I'm just praying that i see an envelope sometime this week, preferably tomorrow.

IT is thursday...and I still have nothing ~~~ :(

I keep calling the school but no one answers the phones. ANd everyone seems to be out of the office.

What is going on?

Thanks for calling the school, I actually called the school two days ago, and spoke to the admissions person, and she said that they should all be sent out by next week, because they are still reviewing a few more applications. . .im so worried.

You applied to SF right? I applied to San Mateo. so i surely hope we get in !!! please keep me updated.

ROCKYPOOH: yeah i applied to SF as my first choice. and I definitely will keep you posted on any news that comes up.

And they're STILL reviewing applications? Didn't we give them like. 3 solid months? I swear mine was turned in before Nov 1st.. which was the deadline. And if there really is only 58 applicants.. shouldn't it be much faster?

I'm sorry, I'm just super stressed about this. This is the only school I applied to. And i don't want to be stuck at this dead end job forever. ... FOREVER!!!

My former pathophys classmate whom i've been communicating with via email was accepted to the Oakland campus and they told her over the phone. Don't know who she talked to. They also said that her acceptance letter will be mailed next week. So it looks like they're still mailing out the acceptances. Good luck you guys!

I got my letter!!!! :) yay! looks like I'll be going to SF after all :)

YAY!!!!!

Now i gotta go find housing.. and get my financial aid approved.
