Just wanted to start a thread for the students applying to this time frame! Deadline's around the corner. ?

April start in SM was my first choice, June in SM was second. I’ve been wait listed for April. Does anyone know if they treat these intakes separately despite being one application? Am I still being considered for June? ?
I was in the same position and thought the same thing. I applied to oakland and SM. You are only considered for your first option. You will be admitted to your second option only if they have space available
Also here are my stats for the poster above asking!
CNA for 1 year
Previous experience in another healthcare field
cumulative GPA: 3.3-3.5
Prereq GPA: mostly A's in science prereqs (had 2 B's in non-science prereqs)
Scored high 90's on the HESI for most sections, 100 on the science sections
Trilingual
Some volunteering in previous field I was in but not for nursing
Good LORs from managers and RN's, thought my personal statements were well-written..
Hope that helped! Good luck to the rest of the peeps waiting!

Just curious, but has anyone heard back yet for SM June start? Or has it just been the April start peeps?
I would like to know this also. I have applied to San Mateo June cohort as my first choice. I haven’t heard back since the admission phase II email. The SMU counselor said the final decision will be Mid-March but curious if anyone got an email.

3.1 in last 60-90 credits
3.6 in science GPA , I retook anatomy & Phys multiple times & ended w A’s in both, micro & B’s in the other sciences. Worked as CNA & MA, I also think they picked me bc my essay responses were very strong and some areas like my TEAS wasn’t as high as other applicants.
-I shared my experience or working with my community and giving back b/c I have a lot of volunteer experience.
used the same LOR from my first time applying.
TEAS - 86% , high 90% in all subjects except for English (78%)
