Just wanted to start a thread for the students applying to this time frame! Deadline's around the corner. ?

Does anyone know the start date for San Mateo?

Got my official acceptance email at 8:12am this morning! Almost started crying (I already cried my eyes out when I got the ELMSN interview invite a few weeks ago haha. This is my dream nursing program and only school I applied too! Good luck to everyone waiting! And big CONGRATS to those admitted!! We made it!

hi! I got in. I have a interview for another accelerated program next week. So if I get in there I will be giving up my spot for SMU. Goodluck everyone!

Can you please share which other ABSN program you applied to? I was under the impression that SMU has the only one in the Bay Area. Thank you!

Also, does anyone know if the ABSN program for Samuel Merritt had an interview process in previous years. I was under the impression that they would do interviews before sending out acceptance letters.

To answer the above, SFSU is the other school with an ABSN in the area. They do hold interviews for this program.

Sam merritt has not had an interview process for the ABSN program in the last some years that I know of. I think they may hold them for the masters level.

@Allnurse9877 Yes like @milkTee said SFSU has an ABSN program, as well as Cal State-Stanislaus, and USF, UCSF and UC Davis have a masters entry program, which is a masters program but they all have similar requirements as an ABSN program.

I got my acceptance this morning for San Mateo for an April start date and this was my first time applying!

Woohoo congratulations!

April start in SM was my first choice, June in SM was second. I’ve been wait listed for April. Does anyone know if they treat these intakes separately despite being one application? Am I still being considered for June? ?
