So, the applications are due today (September 1st) for summer admission to ABSN program at Samuel Merritt. How does everyone feel about their application?? :up: :down: What campus did you apply to?

Just sent some PM's to people that I saw were going to be in the June cohort. Let's start that Facebook group!

My advice is to go with the aBSN as the opportunity cost of doing the aDN + RN->BSN (3 years) vs aBSN (1 year) is a huge factor. Time is money!

Hey guys! I just wanted to update my allnurses family that I was accepted last night to the SF cohort april start. Thanks for all of your support throughout the last 7 months!!! Now the fun of figuring out financing!!

Hey everyone! I was accepted to the San Mateo June Cohort. I just found this thread and have read through all 79 pages of comments. I was definitely feeling the same anxiety as you all were. Congrats to all that were accepted. What an accomplishment!

I was wondering where everyone was getting the physical exam done? Specifically those without health insurance. I called SMU this morning to schedule with their clinic ($75 seemed like an unbeatable price) but was informed that they do not currently have an FNP for exams. Does anyone know of good alternatives in the Bay Area that are not too costly?

Hey fellow classmates for the San Mateo Summer 2012 cohort!

I created the FB group last night and added Tigo. The group is under "Samuel Merritt ABSN - San Mateo Summer 2012" Cant wait to meet all of you!

I live in Sacramento and asked if I could do my physical exam at their contracted Sacramento locations. Its too bad that their cost is $300! So I will also have to get my exam done at some local clinic for a cheaper rate.

If anybody else lives in Sac and will be attending this cohort, I'd love to meet up with you! =)
