So, the applications are due today (September 1st) for summer admission to ABSN program at Samuel Merritt. How does everyone feel about their application?? :up: :down: What campus did you apply to?

I just got a call and I'm accepted at the SF campus!!! My last name starts with "S"... good luck to everyone!

Ks1987, my last name start with K (my married name) and H my maiden name. I am not sure which one they have. I had applied before this cohort so not sure which one. It might also depend on when you submitted your application, if it was passed Sep then they might call you later???

I just got a call also! Congrats to everyone who got the call and hang in there to everyone else that's waiting. Last name starts with S.

Still havent gotten a call.. I am freaking out!!!!!!!!!!!! My 1st choice was Oakland and my last name starts with M. I really hope they call us all tonight. I cannot handle another day of waiting. Congrats to all who have gotten in.

For those who had Oakland and San Mateo as their first choices, I guess we'll find out early next week. Let's keep those fingers crossed and congrats again to those who have been accepted! Have a great weekend!

I'm getting so antsy. I browsed through last year's forum and it seemed like Oakland was the first to be notified and then SF. Those who applied to San Mateo weren't notified until the following Friday. So that means we will all find out by the end of next week!

hi everyone! i was just thinking about how it's almost been exactly one year (on valentine's day) since my acceptance to the ABSN program (oakland cohort) & remembering how I was just as anxious as you all! Just wanted to stop by and say Hi and congratulate everyone who has been accepted and also to those who are still waiting, be patient- all your hard work will pay off! :p

just for the record - everyone was receiving their calls around this time last year, i never got a call! but i did receive an email 02/14 monday evening almost 7pm as i was heading out the door for dinner!

Thank you for all of your encouraging words. I hope I"ll find out that day haha. However, I applied to San Mateo and I don't think I'll hear back until later next week. But, that's okay as long as I hear back with good news. :)

How are you liking the program? Do you have any tips to provide? Any advice is appreciated!
