Hi all! I am applying to Samuel Merritt Sacramento 2015 spring cohort. I'm wondering if anyone else on here is applying and how many in progress classes do you have?

I am taking Pharmacology and Pathophysio online this summer, then taking Physio and Stats in the fall. Hopefully this isn't too many to be IP when we apply by July 1.

Hey, I am applying for the Spring 2015 cohort as well in Sacramento. I only have to take Microbiology this summer. How is your application going?

Hi there! My application is going fine, I just need to do my writing samples and then I am taking the TEAS test on June 9th. After that I will submit if I like my score, or else I will take it again. Where are you taking micro? I just took that in the spring. All I have left are Anatomy and Stats in the fall.

Does anyone know if they look down on IP classes? I am missing pharmacology and pathophysio as well but will be taking them in the summer.. I hope this doesn't hurt our chances =[[

I am almost done with my application, I just have to do the writing samples as well. I am taking Micro in Fairfield hopefully over the summer.

I am not 100% sure what IP classes are but I am sure they are fine.

Hello Everyone!

I am also applying for the Spring 2015. My application is almost done, I have patho and pharm in progress at Santa Barbara City college. I spoke to an awesome counselor at SM and was told that it would not matter much especially since the rest of my application is good.

I have not yet decided which campus to put as my top choice, I could go either way. Has anyone visited the Sacramento campus that can share some insight? Thank you!

I'm also applying for the Spring 2015 ABSN Sac cohort. I've completed all the prereqs, have strong LOR's (I work at Kaiser), great work experience, Science GPA of 4.0 but i'm not so impressed with my TEAS (scored higher than national but not as competitive as i'd like it to be). I'm nervous about how significant of a factor TEAS scores might be in the process. Does anyone know how soon before we can expect to hear back?

Hi guys.. I graduate SMUs BSN program this December, and when I applied, I has six (yes, SIX!!) IP classes. They look at your application as a whole, not just one section. Best of luck!!

thanks for sharing marykdarling! I was definitely stressed out that I haven't taken patho and pharm yet but you've relieved my stress a little! haha do you mind sharing your stats ? what kind of experience did you have?
