Hi all! This is a forum for updates on the fall 2021 ABSN Sacramento waitlist. I figured we can all update each other as we hear more about movement ? 

I started out as #10 and as of last Wednesday (7/7/2021) was #8.

Hi! Thanks for starting this! How did you figure there was movement on the waitlist? It doesn’t say my position in the portal and I haven’t gotten any updates besides the original email that told me I was #16. I’m not hopeful that I’ll get off the list but I want to keep track of how much it moves for future reference bc nothing really changed about my application for the Spring.

I called the admissions department and asked about the general timeline/process and asked if there was any movement and that’s when they told I was at #8. 
 

it sounds like repeat applicants are prioritized! That gives me a hope for Spring as well ?

What number did you call to check your waitlist status? I tried a couple different numbers, and they referred me to email.

Hello! Fingers crossed for both of us ? I think I got lucky with the phone call- when I hung up I remembered another question I had and called back but was sent to a voicemail that gave an email address. When I called and got through I just went through the phone tree.

I just spoke with Anne—as of today the waitlist only moved a total of 2 spots since our original email.

Does your portal say you are on the waitlist? Or does it say denied? I applied to San Mateo for fall and the portal was finally updated but I didn’t get in LOL. Haven’t gotten an official email yet. But wondering if there is still a chance I’m on the waitlist?

The portal says waitlist on it (but doesn’t give a #)

Just requested update and FYI it’s  moved one more spot, so 3 places total- started as #10 and currently #7.

Woah- Just received word I am currently #3 on the waitlist.  Started at #10, meaning it has moved 7 places total.  Woohoo!
