I figured it was about time for a thread for this cohort, especially as we're getting close to hear back for the Nov. 2011 SF cohort. Did anyone else apply this cycle?

i received an email around 3 PM from a counselor, saying no decisions will be in for another week.

My last name ends in S and nothing yet. I emailed also and received no response. The waiting game is the worst. I got into the summer SF cohort, but my pharm and patho courses were still in progress, so they would let me start. Now I feel like I lost my opportunity at this school... and my patience.

I think its important to remember that most people aren't on this site updating people of their admission status. I like to be hopeful but the few people we know about that have receieved phone calls aren't inclusive as we are not sure how many people not on this site, have be notified.

I think it'd interestign that they said they are waiting another week for more decisons. This makes me think they made the first round of phone calla and are waiting for responses from those applicants. Not sure though. According to last years class the first round of calls was made to the "top" applicants first. But who knows! Goodl luck to everyone! Hopefully we won't be waiting on pins and needles for what feels like forever!

The admissions counselor, ** E **, said that the acceptance letter would arrive Monday or Tuesday... so I'd expect that a lot of the calls will be made today and tomorrow. I guess I was REALLY lucky to be one of the first few calls. I applied in March, so maybe they're going by application date?? Who knows.

My fingers are crossed for you guys! I know how terrible the wait was. 3 months of complete stress.

ahhh I feel like throwing up waiting for my phone to ring! It rang and it was a 510 number and I was so nervous and it turns out to be this restaurant confirming a dinner I had reserved for Dine about town. I wanted to throw my phone across the room! haha

I just received a phone call as well. Yay! They definitely aren't going by application submit date as I submitted pretty late. But my guess is they still have a lot of phone calls to make. She seems to call people at the end of the day, so maybe she is calling a group each day.

My heart is racing waiting for these calls! I'm staying hopeful though because it can still go either way! I just graduated with my BS this weekend, so a phone call within these next few days will be an amazing present! haha! Keeping my fingers crossed & congratulations to everyone!
