Yay !! What’s your stats like? I’m having a hard time with my personal statement because I have one for another school that’s 4 pages so it’s really hard to write a 500 word one! I have so much to say 😩 LOL, as soon as thats done, I can submit ! Good luck to you !!

Hi!

This is my first time applying to CRNA School. I'm super worried about my UAB application because I retook core science classes last semester at a community college and they still haven't sent my transcripts!!

I'm still working on my Samford application and I'm so glad they decided to push back the deadline.

Stats:

~20 months in critical care, CCRN, ACLS, PALS

3.17 overall GPA (unsure about science)

Rec letters from MD, fellow colleague who was recently accepted into Samfords program, and ANM

Lots and lots of volunteer experience with sorority in college and a local clinic

I applied to Samford and UAB as well. Turned my application in a few days ago. I’m not super familiar with Samford’s program or timeline

Stats:

2 years neuroscience/neurosurgical ICU

I was supposed to take the CCRN on March 20th before COVID ruined our lives, so I haven’t been able to get it yet. Hopefully I will have it before interviews (if I get an interview)

4.0 GPA

GRE: 151 quant, 153 verbal, 3 writing

Luckily they were able to submit my transcript to UAB JUST in time. Badgering works wonders LOL!

I won't be submitting my Samford application until closer to the deadline 🙂

This was my problem with UAB. I didn't have my CCRN before I submitted my application (early/mid April) so I just mentioned it in my essay and resume. Hopefully theyre super understanding!

Is this 3.6 based on your last 60 credit hours? I’m a little confused on how they do their GPA’s . I saw they calculate your overall, then last 60, & then math & science
