Hey, wanted to start a thread for all those applying to Samford’s CRNA 2020 program to share stats, info, and updates throughout the application process!

Here are my stats!

Overall GPA: 3.4

GRE: verbal 153, quant 150, writing 5

3 years of ICU experience

ACLS, PALS, CCRN

Involved in a few leadership positions and groups during undergrad. Spanish minor. Service hours with church and ~16 hours of shadowing.

I haven’t gotten an email but if you look on Samford’s website where you submitted the application mine has a status update about interviews

On the status update, you can find out if you were given an interview or not! Best of luck to everyone!

Yes when you click the update it notifies you if you’ve been invited for an interview and then provides a link to schedule the date and time.

Hi all, I got my status update. I wasn’t selected for an interview. God is still good and I haven’t lost hope! I will be applying to some other programs. I refuse to give up. I wish you all the best in your quest to become a CRNA...be blessed!! ??
