Has anyone applied to Samford University Online FNP Fall 2016 Program? Can you share what you have heard about the program, first semester course work load (3 advance courses), and overall input, guidance, and or advice you have been given in order to successfully complete the program.
If you already graduated from Samford Online FNP, tell us about your overall experience, student loans opportunities, total cost of the program, graduation rate as per your own class experience, preparation for Board Exam, and if you found "entry level FNP career opportunity" or not after graduation.

Clinical sites is the most important factor for me. I called over 15 sites and either they are booked and or do not have preceptors available (i.e. don't want to do it, period). This is of concern, since it might trigger being forced to look in other cities and even states for clinical sites. It is a nationwide clinical sites epidemic!

I've heard of universities actually suggesting this to their accepted NP students. I know University of Cincinnati suggests looking in neighboring states for clinical sites. This would be difficult because then the student has to apply for licensure in different states just to complete clinicals. TruthRN, can you talk to doctors or nurse practitioners where you currently work to see if they can help?
Hi. Yes, I spoken to 15 Pediatric and Family Practice offices. Most of them are booked with FNP's and the others don't have the time and personnel to precept.
