Sam Houston State University Fall 2021

Hi, I have created this thread for everyone who is applying to Sam Houston State University Fall 2021. I currently take my TEAS exam a month from now. So far my GPA is still improving the goal is a 3.5 overall. I hope my test scores come out to above a B on all sections.

I got waitlisted! has anyone else received anything? or know how it works? it’s my first time applying for sam houston ?

I got in!! And if someone who got accepted declines their seat then the next person on the waitlist gets accepted. The advisor said that they make a list of all the applicants based on the number of points they got and there’s a cutoff for the ones accepted and the ones after the cutoff get waitlisted

wow I wonder how many points I got. I just applied and hoped for the best LOL

I’m posting my stats for future applicants so they can see what previous application cycles look like. 
I was accepted with a 3.71 science GPA, 3.69 overall GPA, 85.1 for reading TEAS score, 96.9 for math TEAS score, and had three bonus points

Here are my stats for future applicants. I was waitlisted (and 2 weeks later, accepted) with a 3.75 science/overall GPA, 87.2 reading TEAS score, 90.6 math TEAS score, and no bonus points.
